The brands included in this blog post are Dior, Lancome, Chanel, Giorgio Armani, ChanteCaille, and Laura Mercier. I know that having to shop for fungal acne-safe products can seem like it takes the fun away. DIOR:
NOTES: Contains 4+ fragrant ingredients and alcohol as the second ingredient. If you have sensitive skin, this may not be an ideal foundation and may require patch testing.
NOTES: Dior Forever Skin is a full-coverage hydrating concealer. Firstly, the formulation is more suitable for sensitive skin types than the above foundation because it lacks fragrance and alcohol. The first ingredient is Methyl Trimethicone, a very light silicone (not harmful). Secondly, this concealer is formulated with glycerin, a great moisturizing humectant known to bring water to the outer layer of the skin. As a result, I would recommend this product and use this myself.
NOTES: Dior Hydra Life is a physical exfoliant powder that turns into a light air-whipped foam when combined with water. This exfoliant contains fragrance but is not problematic as it won’t be left on the skin too long. Uses sugar extract and lotus seeds (both natural ingredients) to exfoliate the skin. Dior Hydra Life is formulated with Talc which is completely safe for the skin. Unless applied to open wounds, Talc is rarely irritating.

CHANEL:
NOTES: A iconic, classic, luxury makeup product. According to Folliculitis Scout Patch testing is recommended, as this formulation contains four cautioned ingredients. I have personally used this product with no irritation of fungal acne flare-ups.
-LES 4 OMBRE – MULTI EFFECT QUADRA EYESHADOW
NOTES: Only 5 colorways are safe! The fungal acne safe colors are CANDEUR ET EXPÉRIENCE, BLURRY BLUE, NOIR SUPRÊME, QUIET REVOLUTION, and CLAIR-OBSCUR.
LANCOME:
Notes: This is an excellent product! Only two ingredients and a small amount of product goes a long way! I have personally used and really love having this under my makeup.
NOTES: Both shades fungal acne safe.
NOTES: A beautifully formulated antioxidant serum that calms and restores stress skin and protects from environmental pollutions. The second ingredient is BIFIDA FERMENT LYSATE which is a probiotic that can help maintain a healthy skin microbiome. Antioxidant-rich from the many plant extract included in the formulation.

GIORGIO ARMANI:
NOTES: A lightweight, medium coverage foundation, with a natural matte finish.
CHANTECHAILE:
NOTES: This powder is made with clean ingredients and is specifically designed for being shot on a HD camera
NOTES: Hyaluronic acid, urea, and glycerin are all found in this serum’s unique formulation. These hydrating ingredients are especially good for those with fungal acne-prone skin types. I am pleasantly surprised to see Urea included in a luxury product, as Urea is an underrated hydrating ingredient. This serum is packed with powerful plant extracts and natural ingredients.
LAURA MERCIER :
- BLUSH COLOUR INFUSION
NOTES: A great pressed blush formulated with hyaluronic acid. This blush comes in a Fresco, a sheer bronze shade that makes a great bronzer. This is great, as there are minimal bronzer options that are fungal acne safe.
