If you are looking for the best fungal acne safe sunscreens, look no further. These are the sunscreens you’ve been dreaming of!
Shopping for your perfect sunscreen is hard work, when you through in having to find it fungal acne safe, you are faced with quite the challenge. Luckily you found my blog, and I have been experimenting with fungal acne safe products for three years now! I have narrowed down the best fungal acne safe sunscreens to three options, to make it extremely easy for you!
These fungal acne-safe sunscreens are selected with sensitive skin types in mind and, therefore will not cause irritation. When a product is “fungal acne safe” it is also safe to use if you have the following skin conditions:
- Atopic dermatitis
- Fungal acne (Pityrosporum Folliculitis, Malesizia Folliculitis)
- Psoriasis
- Dandruff
- Seborrheic dermatitis
- Tinea versicolor
These three sunscreen products are of the highest quality and are recommended by many dermatologists. I have personally tried all three and can attest to their quality. I have selected a sunscreen with a universal tint, one face sunscreen with no tint, and an aero spray sunscreen for the body.
Let’s do this!
The Best Fungal Acne Safe Sunscreens (In No Particular Order)
1.) DRMTLGY Tinted Moisturizer With SPF 46
This is my holy grail sunscreen and what I personally reach for every single day. This Tinted Moisturizer is 100% fungal acne safe and made with clean ingredients. It is lightweight and has the loveliest universal tint that flatters all skin tones. I love to wear this sunscreen both with and without makeup. It wears well under makeup, and on no make up days gives the skin a natural glow. This product has absolutely NO white cast and is fragrance free.
It is considered the dupe to the ELTA MD sunscreen but is superior for two reasons. It is fungal acne safe and contains Zinc Oxide (meaning more effective sun protection). I cannot recommend the DRMTLGY Sunscreens enough.
This product is free of fragrance, parabens, oils, and sensitivities.
2.) DRMTLGY Broad Spectrum SPF 45
This product has all of the same amazing features and formulations of the above-tinted version, minus the universal tint. This broad spectrum sunscreen by DRMTLGY goes on clear with no white residue. It is non-drying and has skin loving ingredients like niacinamide. It is clear, lightweight, non-greasy, and wears well under makeup. This product is free of fragrance, parabens, oils, and sensitivities.
3.) Sun Bum Sunscreen Spray SPF 50
A great sunscreen for the whole body is so important to have in your collection. Putting on sunscreen all over the body is hard work, but this amazing spray makes it SO easy! I bring this everywhere in the warmer months and it is so convenient. It is fungal acne safe (of course) and water resistant. You and the entire family will love this product!
Finding a fungal acne safe spray sunscreen for the body was the trickiest process! I was so happy when I tested this product and fell in love!
4.) Colorscience Total Protection Face Shield SPF 50
If you love the look of dewy and glowy this colorscience formula is the best option for you! It is 100% mineral based and comes in three different gorgeous shades. This fungal acne safe sunscreen fragrance-free, provides environmental protection against UVA/UVB, pollution, blue light, and infrared radiation!
That concludes my list of the best fungal acne safe sunscreens! I hope you found your perfect match!
